Walmley Residents Association

A warm welcome to all our visitors

WRA Team and Aims

Following the Walmley Residents' Association AGM the committee of WRA has changed. The new committee would like to take this opportunity to clearly state its intentions moving forward.

The new committee is totally focused on providing a platform where residents can openly address concerns, and we will provide information through our quarterly newsletters and website that we believe will be of interest to the residents of Walmley.

We would urge residents who at this time need help or support on any local issues to contact us and we will do all we can to help.

Walmley is a unique community with great diversity and strength; we are and will always be here to support all its residents.

COMMITTEE MEMBERS          SUE TIPPING, WENDY BURNETT                                                                    LYNDA KNIGHT, TINA LITTLEFORD

The committee is made up of local volunteers who offer their valuable time, skills and advice to all aspects of their community, why? Because they care about issues affecting all aspects and the lives of people living in Walmley.

We attend regular formal committee meetings and also hold scheduled public meetings.

There are many other volunteers in addition to the committee who give their valuable time to assist with the many village matters that arise and help to produce and deliver the quarterly newsletters to subscribing members.

We welcome new members in the hope that with your help we can serve our community and uphold the WRA as a caring association for the benefit of all residents in the spirit as was intended since our foundation in 1928.

WRA are active in the community getting involved with all aspects of life, Transportation, Education, Planning and The Environment.

Our area now includes more than 7,500 dwellings.

Local Residents will recognise the photographs on our Village Life page showing our some houses, old and new and the local shops offering a wide range of wares and services as well as one of the many Schools that we are proud of as well as St.Johns Church.
